Pan fried chicken leg with mushroom sauce

Decided to do some cooking as I worked half day today. I call this pan-fried chicken leg with mushroom sauce, accompanied with fried potatos and fresh greens. Didnt feel like cooking especially thinking of clearing up and nagging from mummy. Had not been giving my granny-just-gave-me new frying pan a break and result in verbal wars often me winning with tactful sweet talking. Nevertheless, I still did it,for the passion for food and hunger. Enjoy.

Polly

Polly wants a cracker
Think I should get off her first
Think she wants some water
To put out the blow torch
Isn't me
Have a seat
Let me clip
Dirty wings
Let me take a ride
Hurt yourself
Want some help
Help myself
Got some rope
Have been told
Promise you
Have been true
Let me take a ride
Hurt yourself*
Want some help
Help myself*
Polly said
Polly says her back hurts
She's just as bored as me
She caught me off my guard
Amazes me the will of instinct

Comfort(Not the cab)

A nice black pepper chicken chop accompanied with homemade cream of mushroom from Aston's sums up a fun but exhausting week of FOC. Delicious warm food when the evening sky showers and a random visit to a nice little boutique tucked quietly among the mainly eateries, if you don't look up(literally), you can't find it. Too bad couldn't afford anything there now...

EcR

The ecRclearly reflects the true nature of the red-dot-islanders. In order to get the best timetable, I decided to stay home whole day, camp beside my laptop, waiting for 6pm to come. I was preventing history from repeating! Last year I was 2 days late for the ecR as I was on holiday and couldn't get a computer, thus got a shit-assed timetable. But the plus point, I met a wonderful group of friends who also had the same shit-assed timetable, what a joke. Too bad, Chun Yee, enjoying the HongKong fever, forgot about the whole damn thing , did it 4 days late, haha, never mind la mike, have fun first. Anyways, despite the ready-to-click hoo ha, rest of the mikes didn't get their ideal classes. The reason being is that our courses, among the yr 2s, were the latest to choose, based on the allocated timing, thus left fewer spaces for them. perhaps the school can look into having a quota system which makes it more fair. Almost forced to take Micro for christ's sake, luckily i sent a mail, log in and logout, and got my slot in Managerial Econs. Basically I think both subjects are damn shitty, but you gotta choose the best of 2 evils. Doing elements of law of contract(pretty much looking forward to), Financial Reporting and Corporate Finance. Any of you guys doing the same subjects, please tell me. And the best part about nxt yr's timetable, thurs are free, meaning wed night will be occupied loving in the first degree.

El Nino

The anticipation of the arrival of Fernando Torres has finally died. El Nino is here, at the Kop. With him setting foot on to the sacred pitch of Anfield, red Scousers are believing, once again. With new hope that the coveted Premiership trophy will make its way to Merseyside sometime May' 08, when the new season ends. Admist the hype that came with Torres' signing, there is still much doubt. At least for me, a fan of 9 years. During the period which I faithfully supported them, Roy Evans had his spice boys, Gerard Houllier took the spice out of the graduates of the academy and turned it into a continental breakfast. Some went well with the fans(won the cup treble) while some, if not most, just rot. Then came Benitez, a man who was already accomplished in Spain, decide to come onboard and try his luck. In his first season, he won the Champions League. When was the last time an English club won it? He won it with the likes of Luis Garcia, Gerrard, Carragher and Alonso. People were betting on Liverpool to challenge for the trophy the following year, we won the FA Cup. Then came Pennant, Bellamy, critics were saying that the puzzle is finally completed, well we won nothing last year. So, is Fernando going to be a hit? Personally, I am not hoping for much at all. I always feel that a player who arrive with little hype will always perform consistently and do well. An example is Berbatov. Even with his reputation in Germany, he came to England during the mid season(much quieter than the summer), and he performed. Well, is afterall my personal opinion, whether is he going to be a hit or a miss, we have the upcoming season to see it all. Look out for Anderson and Nani as well, esp Anderson. Caught him in the Copa America, will be interesting to watch him play together with Cristiano Ronaldo. Is Torres going to score goals like Fowler and Owen, we will have to anticipate yet again. With Luis Garcia going home, it will be less fun for me to watch, but if a serious title challenge will be mount, it will be just a sacrifice. He already has a Champions League medal in his pocket.

No tag board

Ok. I just realised something. Everyone's board has a tag board but mine. Can someone teach me how to put it? Lol. Please, if you have time, just text me ya, I will rush down so that you can put a tag board on my blog. If you are damn good at HTML, you can make this gloomy blog into a moody one. I suddenly felt left out. Camp's coming up so hope that it will be cool after that, many more things will come in the way. That's how life should be spent, spending time doing useful things and derive a certain flavour of joy from it. Not sure how to feel actually but at least I am not unhappy. But I got myself a new climacool tee and shorts, so is time to play some sports.
