it had been two months three days since we were here
i remember it was still cold and windy, spring's still lingering
but over a day, summer looms in
bright and sunny it was in the day, predictable
cool or sometimes warm, in the night, random
oh, how i wish sheets of white clouds would cover the glaring sun
with rays so strong, it pierces my skin
and dark clouds loom, occasionally, in the day
bringing a storm so strong, it keeps me away.

come September, summer is slowly leaving
autumn creeps in slowly
and it gets cold cold and colder
as we wave goodbye to summer
and prepare for a depressing Fall
