First post in NJ

People, I am in Jackson, New Jersey right now. Working at Six Flags Great Adventure.
and this is my first time blogging about the place after so many days..

Finally made our way here after a extremely long haul journey via taipei, anchorage and new york without any in flight entertainment. Can a human being really sleep for that long? one of us can, apparently. Had my first experience of sleeping overnight at the airport(JFK), not including the past studying expeditions, and lucky enough to find a private van to send us here ,paying lesser than planned and catching just a glimpse of NYC.

Internet connection here is really bad.. is really slow, somewhat like the situation when we just use had internet initially. Eating out and buying groceries here is quite expensive in comparison with those back home.Never bought necessities before so now, I felt the pinch. And the need to scrimp(but not on the shrimp, hmmm). The only cheap things here is like pasta and sauce. The weather, admist all, is delightful, with occasional showers though. But we didn't expect it to be so chilly here, though spring is going to end with summer making its presence. But i like the cold, something we are always deprive of. Don't have to worry about sweating, taking multiple showers and stuff. Is kinda inaccessible here, but you just have to get used to it, buying more stuff at one go rather then making multiple trips cause bus fare ain't cheap either. Just hitch-hiked my way back yesterday cause the last bus simply didn't come. Paying $50 for a taxi was ridiculous so I just had to try my luck. There's simply a lot of new things to experience here, others who are from different backgrounds, countries and way of lives. Guess the only passport throughout this 4 months is being open, compromise and adaptability. So far, I think I am doing pretty well.
