CNY

This year's CNY is short. I can hardly feel the festive mood. Perhaps is kinda rush, barely into a new year is Chinese new year already. That kinda suck! I like CNY cuz there's new clothes to wear, Ang Pows to take and prawn paste spring rolls to eat. Well, there's still the anxiety for the new clothes but for the intake of Ang Pows, this year is really bad. Maybe I am older already or may be due to the recession and also less visiting done(most Oldies had went to a better place, hopefully).. haha.. :( well, besides the usual CNY stuff, i am pretty much addicted to "qiku"(in Cantonese) chips. These stuff are awesome man, thrashing Kettle chips and tapoica chips hands down, maybe on par to the Thai Lays. Similar to the latter, once you start, you really cannot stop.. really. CNY ain't a big family affair for the Queks, is like reunion dinner and stuff is just like a normal gathering we have during the year. Haha, we ain't that traditional you know.. But the best news about this new year, my xiao gu's family is starting to attend church... Glory to God.
