TV on Ch 8

Had a few days off this week, so managed to watch tv, slack and sleep. A perfect potion before school starts. Caught this new mandarin drama on Ch 8, 7pm. The show seems to be a low budget, diplomatic collaboration with our neighbouring tv station. What caught me, initially, was the theme song, that sounded one like Elva's. The cast involves Malaysian artistes with a pinch of 'localised' Malaysians; revolves around 6 people, whom 3 are sisters, 2 brothers and 1 rich chap(a typical installation for a soap) who got to meet one another through pure coincidence. Eventually, the 'likely' didn't fulfil while 'unlikely' paths crossed and all got married, a happy ending. The cliche plot seems predictable for me but is really comfortable to digest compared to the nonsensical HK show on Ch U(the title is dumb enough, water margin+infernal affairs?) and the 9pm CH 8 show splattered with not-funny-at-all humor and overacting. Sometimes, simplicity is comfort.
